Hair is one of the most defining features of a human being. A good hairstyle not only makes you look attractive and well-groomed, it is also a distinguishing feature of your personality. We present you 6 evergreen hairstyles that will never go out of fashion.
1) Short Straight
This is a classic cut that goes with almost every type of face. If you want to look attractive without experimenting much, this is the style for you. Featuring sharp cut edges around the ears and neckline, this hairstyle looks best if you get it trimmed regularly without letting the hair grow much longer. Depending on the thickness of your hair, you can get the standard 4 inches on top (hair is thickest on the top) and 3 inches at the back. The plus point of this style is you can ditch the comb and just run your fingers through your hair to set it.
2) Side spiked
Center spikes are passe! Side trimming to generate side spikes look super cool and pack your look with oodles of style. Keeping the top of the head as the center, the side hairs are trimmed in depleting thickness (shortening from center towards the end) giving you a neat, tilted spike. Use a good hair gel
to keep your hair smooth as well as set, at all times.
3) Side parting with layers
If you sport longish hair, try this hairstyle and you will manage to turn heads as you come out of the salon! You can get this cut if your hair is about 6 inches long. Starting from the side parting, hair is layered in a silky, downward flow. Add bangs to this cut to increase the style quotient. Tom Cruise made it famous in Mission Impossible II. We give you his without and with bangs look!
4) Buzz cut
If low maintenance is your style, go for the buzzcut. Known variously as crew cut, flat-top, ivy-league and others, buzz cut is also perfect for hot weather. This very short haircut is done with a motorized razor as this clips the hair short and clean. This style is also great if you want to don the badass or tough-guy look!
If you have been sporting long hair for a while, hats off to you! You can further accentuate your looks by getting the classy backcomb. Dabbing a drop of styling cream into damp hair and combing it straight back, neatly tucking it behind the ears is the way to sport this style. Ensure that your hair is evenly trimmed and no stray hair is popping out from the front or behind the ears.
For long hair, a pony tail or a man-bun is the way to go. Not very complicated, it just involves bunching your hair together and tying it with a string or rubber band. If the ends hang out, its a pony, if they are bunched up, its a bun. If your hair is not long enough or is cut in layers, go for a half-ponytail or half-bun. It doesn't have to look neat. Messy is sexy. Just ensure your hair is properly washed
and conditioned, since you will go through a lot of admiring looks and maybe touch and feel.
